My guide to Lleida, Catalonia

INTRO

Welcome to Lleida! For me, Lleida is a stunning city, it isn't a huge city like Barcelona, but in my opinion this is an advantatge because thus, Lleida is more peaceful and you can enjoy it quietly because it isn't bustling.

BEST SHOPS?

I don't know for you which could be the best shop, all of it depends of what you like. For me the best shops are "Abacus" and "Caselles" that in my opinion are also the best bookstores of Lleida. Also, I'd highly recommend shopping in Colleccionator, a shop where you can find toys, figures, shirts, posters and cups about films, series, animes and videogames like Star Wars, Stranger Things, One Piece or Assassin's Creed. Also, there is a shop called "La Bruixa" where you can find badges and shirts about musical groups like Nirvana or Green Day.

BEST FOOD?

For me the best food are the snails "a la llauna" with alioli. It are mouth-watering, you must try it! You could go to the restaurants "Llobregat" or "Aggio", they have a very tasty snails.

BEST ATTRACTION?

I'd highly recommend to see the cathedral "Seu Vella". It' is unique and has the highest bell tower of the buildings of this time of all Europe.

BEST ACTIVITY?

For me is go to run at the Segre river and walk at the "Mitjana" forest looking the birds. But if you go to Mitjana you ough to take anti-mosquito cream, because there are a lot of mosquitoes.

AND BAD POINTS?

At the summer we reach 40 degrees or more, so if you come in summer you should take a lot of solar cream, a cap and sunglasses.
